Year-end Current Account Deficit up to 73.6 Billion USD

ANKARA (A.A) - The Central Bank of Turkey projected on Friday the year-end current account deficit around 73.6 billion USD.

The bank released its first survey of expectations in November, and said the current account deficit expectation was up to 73.6 billion USD from 72.6 billion USD.

The year-end inflation expectation rose to 9.08 percent which had been 8.01 percent in the second term survey of October.

Year-end annual gross domestic product projection, which had been 6.7 percent in the second term survey of October, rose to 6.8 percent in the first term survey of November.

Also, the bank projected the year-end USD currency around 1.79 Turkish liras (TL).
