Friday, 11 November 2011ANKARA (A.A) - Industrial production index increased 12 percent in September 2011 compared to the same month of 2010.
Turkey's statistical authority, TurkStat, released industrial production figures for September.
TurkStat said on Friday that in the sub sectors level of industry; mining sector rose 2.2 percent, manufacturing sector index increased 12.8 percent, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index was up by 9.9 percent in September 2011 when compared to the same month of 2010.
Calendar adjusted production index in the mentioned month increased 6 percent, and seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index rose 1.5 percent in September when compared to August. |
