Russian PM Putin to Attend War Memorial Unveiling in Bryansk Region

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will on Tuesday attend the unveiling of a memorial to Russian villages burned down by Nazis during World War II in the western Russian Bryansk Region, the government press service reported.

Putin will also speak to regional residents, war veterans and former guerrilla fighters.

Nazis shot dead 318 civilians living in the regional village of Khatsun on October 25, 1941, and burned the village down in 1942.
