Ukrainian President Arrives in Cuba

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has arrived in Cuba on an official visit.

Yanukovych was met in the airport near Havana by Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Dagoberto Rodriguez, Ukrainian Ambassador Tatyana Sayenko and Cuban Foreign Ministry officials.

During the visit, the Ukrainian leader will hold talks with Cuba’s top officials, sign documents on cooperation in the financial sphere, transport, youth policy and sports, attend a bilateral business forum and visit a children’s rehabilitation center.

The visit will end on Sunday.
