Turkey to Open New Border Gates to Meet Increasing Traffic due to Boost in Trade

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkey plans to open more border crossings with its neighbors to meet increasing traffic due to rise in trade, Turkish Customs and Trade Minister Hayati Yazici has said.

"We will open four new border gates with Georgia, another four with Iraq and on new gate with Iran within the next two year," Yazici told the Anadolu Agency.

Yazici said the new border gates with Georgia would be located in Ardahan and Artvin as gates with Iraq would be opened in Sirnak and Hakkari, and the gate with would be in Igdýr.
