Friday, 9 September 2011The President Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived on a working visit to the North Kazakhstan region.Twenty kilogrammes per hectare on the year of the 20th anniversary of independence. The head of state expressed such a hope for grain growers, Caspionet reported. The national leader was informed about the implementation of strategic programmes and new ambitious projects. To gather a good harvest, which is projected to be more than 6.5 million tonnes of crops, the farmers of southern Kazakhstan came to help their colleagues in the north. The region has about four million hectares of grain sown across its area. 80% of combined harvesters working in the fields are those of the new generation.
Kazakhstan’s agroindustrial complex has been provided with unprecedented support. This year alone, 220 billion tenge has been allocated from the national budget. Today, the country’s farmers have been tasked with raising the livestock industry. Peterfield Agro has been engaged in livestock breeding for only three years. Now, the company has bold plans and is willing to become the best one in the industry. They have the potential, desire to work and tangible support from the state. This year, farmers have received 3.5 million tenge. |
