Wednesday, 3 August 2011A meeting of military attachés and military representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, accredited in foreign countries and international organizations, was launched today at the Academy of Armed Forces.
The meeting was opened by the Head of the Department for International Military Cooperation under the Ministry of Defense, Major General Ramiz Najafov. Najafov analyzed the activity of the Defense Ministry in international cooperation, the Ministry of Defense told Trend.
Issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in Azerbaijan's military sphere, its objectives, main directions, and priorities are being discussed at the meeting. Also discussed are the potentials of Azerbaijan's defense industry.
The meeting will continue until August 5.
