14 Children Killed as School Van Falls into Canal in Pakistan

At least 14 children were killed as a school van fell into a canal early Friday morning in Pakistan ' s northeast area of Azad Kashmir, reported local Urdu TV channel ARY.

According to the report, the accident took place at about 7:00 a.m. local time when a school van carrying 22 students fell into a canal, Xinhua reported.

Four children have been rescued while the search for the other missing children is still underway, said the report. Reasons for the accident are not known yet.
