Ali Canko, a Turkish national, among those listed.
The Obama administration announced the designation of several individuals and organizations for attempting to evade U.S. sanctions on Iran Thursday.
"The global targets designated today play key roles in supporting Iran’s nuclear program and active support for terrorism," said Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence David Cohen in a statement released to the press.
Those listed are prohibited from doing business in the U.S., and any assets they have within the U.S. are frozen. They include persons and entities from Turkey, Spain, Georgia, Germany, Afghanistan, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Liechtenstein.
Foreign financial institutions and persons are also prohibited from facilitating "significant transactions" or providing "material support" to those targeted.
Among those listed was Ali Canko, a Turkish national, who the Treasury Department said assisted the Iran-based Tiva Sanat Group in attempting to "produce and reverse engineer a weapons-capable fast boat to be used by the IRGC-Navy."
The department added, "Ali Canko has served as a financial intermediary for payments from the Tiva Sanat Group to various international suppliers."
Cohen remarked that as Iran and world powers continue to negotiate a comprehensive agreement over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, the U.S. would continue to enforce existing sanctions unaffected by a landmark interim agreement reached in November.
"The United States has made clear that as it implements the Joint Plan of Action, contingent on Iran satisfying its own commitments, the overwhelming majority of sanctions remain in effect and will continue to be vigorously enforced," he said.
Thursday's announcement marks the second time that new designations have been announced since the interim deal was reached.
